The terms, in plain English.

Privacy, terms of enrollment, refund policy, and the disclosures BoydNorth operates under.

Section i.

Privacy Statement.

What BoydNorth collects.

BoydNorth collects only the information you provide voluntarily. That includes name, email, phone, organization, role, and the content of your inquiry. The site does not use third-party advertising trackers, and analytics are limited to basic page-level metrics necessary to operate the site.

What BoydNorth does with it.

Your information is used to respond to your inquiry, manage your engagement, and deliver materials you have requested. Information from inquiries is read by the principal directly. It is not sold, rented, traded, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

What BoydNorth never does.

Your rights.

You can request access, correction, or deletion of your information at any time by writing to info@boydnorth.com. The Compass newsletter includes a one-click unsubscribe in every issue.

Section ii.

Terms of Enrollment.

The engagement.

Enrollment in any BoydNorth engagement (Principal Counsel, the Second Tour Cohort, the Transition Audit, or the Second Tour: Self-Paced) is governed by these terms and any engagement-specific letter or agreement signed at intake. The signed agreement governs in the case of conflict.

Qualification.

The Second Tour Cohort and Principal Counsel begin with a qualification conversation. Enrollment is not guaranteed by inquiry or by payment of any deposit. Fit is determined in the conversation. Where fit is not present, deposits are returned in full.

Conduct.

BoydNorth engagements operate on confidentiality, candor, and mutual respect. Cohort participants agree not to share other participants' contributions outside the cohort. The principal reserves the right to end any engagement for conduct that materially undermines the work or other participants. Refund in such cases is prorated against work delivered.

Section iii.

Refund Policy.

The Second Tour Cohort.

Refund in full if requested within seven days of the cohort start date and before the second cohort session. After the second session, refunds are prorated against sessions remaining, less a non-refundable administrative portion of fifteen percent.

Principal Counsel.

Engagements begin by invitation following a confidential conversation. If the fit proves wrong within the first thirty days, the engagement is canceled and the unused balance is refunded in full. After thirty days, refunds are prorated against months remaining.

The Transition Audit.

Refund in full if requested before the intake conversation. Once the intake is complete and the engagement is scheduled, the audit is non-refundable, but the deliverable is guaranteed within the engagement timeline.

The Second Tour: Self-Paced.

Refund in full if requested within fourteen days of purchase and no more than two modules have been accessed. After fourteen days or three modules, the purchase is non-refundable.

All refund requests are processed within ten business days. Direct all requests to info@boydnorth.com.

Section iv.

Disclaimers and Independence.

Independent practice.

BoydNorth is an independent executive education and advisory firm focused on senior military-to-civilian executive transition. All content, coaching, and offerings are provided by the principal in a personal capacity and are separate from any government employment.

What BoydNorth does not do.

Corporate partnerships.

Corporate partnerships are limited to private-sector employers whose business does not present a conflict of interest with the principal's federal employer. Partnership inquiries from defense and federal services firms are evaluated against current ethics guidance before any engagement is opened.

Outcomes.

Engagements are not guarantees. The frameworks have been pressure-tested in environments where the stakes are real, but outcomes depend on the participant's execution, organizational context, and factors outside the engagement's control. BoydNorth makes no representations about specific employment, compensation, or career outcomes.

Updates.

These policies were last updated on May 12, 2026. Material changes will be communicated to active clients in writing. Continued enrollment after a material update constitutes acceptance.
